Dr. Patrick DeSouza brings 20 years of leadership in the financial services industry. He has extensive experience working with public and private company investments in the defense, energy and Internet sectors. Dr. DeSouza has significant U.S. and cross-boarder capital-raising and mergers & acquisitions experience. He is also Chief Executive Officer of The Plain Sight Group, a technology holding company centered at Yale University. Pat is Chairman of American Leak Detection, a nationwide franchise in the water management business and one of Plain Sight’s investments. He is also on the board of directors of the Schutzman Center for Entrepreneurship at Queens College. Previously, Dr. DeSouza served at the White House as Director for Inter-American Affairs on the National Security Council. He is a visiting lecturer at the Yale Law School and author of Economic Strategy and National Security (2000). Dr. DeSouza is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is a graduate of Columbia College, Yale Law School and Stanford Graduate School where he wrote his doctoral dissertation on foreign investment in the United States.
